ICICI Bank Ltd is a market leader in the Indian banking industry. Currently, it is the 2nd biggest bank in India. In terms of asset value, ICICI Bank ranks second among all the banks in India and in terms of market capitalization, it is the biggest private sector bank in India. It was founded in 1994 by Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India or ICICI Ltd.

At present, the Chairman of the bank is K.V. Kamath and the MD & CEO of the bank is Chanda Kochhar. Major competitors of ICICI Bank are State Bank of India, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank.
