The Bank of Rajasthan Ltd. was founded in 1943. The founder chairman of the bank was late Seth Sri Govind Ram Seksaria, a renowned businessman. The bank started its operations with an opening capital base of Rs. 10 lakhs. The bank received the status of a scheduled bank in 1948.
